The MD/PhD program at the Wayne State University School of Medicine is aimed at a few highly motivated individuals! Our program combines outstanding scientific training with state-of-the-art clinical medicine to train individuals as physician-scientists, excelling in careers in research and education. Our program is uniquely structured to integrate clinical and scientific experiences through all years of training.

Announcing a new Certificate in Clinical and Translational Science (GCCTS) which can be "bridged" by MD/PhD Students towards an additional Masters degree in Medical Research.


Congratulations to Jesse Veenstra for receiving the Preclinical Academic Excellence Award for best performance in the M1/M2 combined years for 2009! The award is given in the form of a housing allowance.


Congratulations to Erik Brown for being selected as a 2008-2009 recipient of the Outstanding Graduate/Professional Student Award honored at the Campus Life Leadership Awards Ceremony 2009!
